Salt River Mare & Foal – A Painterly Commemorative Artwork

This commemorative painterly artwork is created from an original photo I took at the Salt River — a quiet moment between a mare and her foal just days before both were tragically lost. Their gentle bond, the soft waterline, and the peaceful desert greenery have been transformed into a painterly tribute that preserves their memory with warmth and dignity.

The Salt River wild horses are a cherished part of Arizona’s history, and this piece honors the beauty of the pair who touched so many hearts. Printed on a premium canvas, this artwork blends emotional storytelling with fine‑art texture, making it a meaningful centerpiece for anyone who loves Arizona wildlife, nature art, or the legacy of the Salt River herd.

Perfect for collectors, gift‑givers, and anyone who wants to keep a piece of Salt River history alive. Limited availability.
